Ocean-View Oregon Coast Accommodations

Every one of the 35 rooms and suites at the Inn at Cape Kiwanda faces the water, so an ocean view is the standard here, not an upgrade. Each room has a private balcony looking toward Pacific City’s Haystack Rock, a gas fireplace, and a spa-inspired bathroom, following a full redesign completed in 2025. Layouts run from the Signature King Jetted Tub for two up to the Dory Family Suite and O’Neill Surf Suite, which add bunk alcoves for families. The inn sits directly across from the beach in Pacific City, on Oregon’s north coast.

Every room has a gas fireplace and a private balcony over the water, so the cold half of the year is a reason to come rather than something to plan around. Top Floor King rooms have the widest ocean views on the property. Winter brings Oregon’s King Tides, the highest tides of the season, and the inn lists the dates on its events calendar: November 23 to 27 and December 22 to 26 in 2026, then January 20 to 24 in 2027. When the weather turns, the board game library is at the front desk and the beach is still directly across the road.

Two offers are built for the occasion. Romance at the Cape adds red wine, chocolate truffles, dinner at Meridian Restaurant & Bar with ocean views and a late checkout. Coastal Wine & Chocolate keeps it simpler, with a bottle of red wine and handcrafted truffles waiting in the room. The Sunset Bonfire Bundle closes the evening on the sand with artisan s’mores, drinks and a bonfire bundle including firewood. Every room faces the water with a private balcony and a gas fireplace, and the beach is directly across from the inn.

Reservations carry an 11.9% lodging tax and a 10% amenity fee. A deposit equal to the first night’s room and tax is due when you book and is fully refundable up to 72 hours before arrival; inside 72 hours the deposit is forfeited. Check-in begins at 4:00 pm and check-out is at 12:00 pm, and a refundable $100 security authorization is placed on your card at check-in. Self-parking is $12 per night with unlimited in and out, and one EV charging station is available. The inn is entirely non-smoking, with quiet hours from 10:00 pm to 8:00 am.
