Guest Room Frequently Asked Questions
The guest service desk is open daily from 6:00 am to 8:00 pm. The lobby remains accessible after hours with your key card. Should you need any assistance after hours, please contact us at 503.457.5429.
Each room features a smart TV equipped with Apple TV for easy streaming. Simply log in to your preferred streaming apps to pick up where you left off. If you don’t have an account, the free Pluto TV app is available and includes a variety of channels, including local programming.
Connect to the Inn at Cape Kiwanda network using the password in your key card holder.
Check-out is at noon. If you need extra time, ask at the guest services desk and we will do our best to accommodate. If you need to depart before 6:00 am, leave your key card in the basket and your folio will be emailed to you.
We offer daily housekeeping service. Simply place your “maid service please” door hanger outside your room before noon.
The ice machine is in the lobby to the left of the guest services desk.
The coin-operated laundry is on the first floor, just outside the north lobby door, accessible with your room key card.
To activate the fireplace, turn the dial past the 10-minute mark.
The light switch is behind the drapes next to the sliding glass door.
Tidepools Spa &Wellness, located at Headlands Coastal Lodge & Spa across the street, offers massage and facial treatments. To make an appointment, call 503.483.3003.
Stop by the guest services desk to borrow beach chairs, sand toys and single or tandem beach cruiser bikes. Visit Hart’s Camp guest registration (next to Doryland Pizza) for outdoor adventure gear included in your stay. Borrow bikes, cruiser bikes, sand boards and sand sleds, wagons and more.
The entrance to the facility is inside the Cape Kiwanda Marketplace next door.
Enjoy the family-friendly nine-hole putting course next door. Pick up putters and scorecards at Hart’s Camp guest registration, next to Doryland Pizza. Visit the playground or head to the Hart’s Camp pavilion for yard games such as horseshoes, cornhole, giant Connect Four, yardzee and giant Jenga.
The harbor seal located in your room upon arrival is an ode to the Oregon Coast natives. Available for $20, it’s the perfect souvenir. If you’d like to take this friend home, please let the guest services desk know.
Two glass water bottles are provided for your use during your stay. Please return them for reuse for take them home for $10 each. Also in your fridge are two Pelican Brewing Sparkle Hops non-alcoholic beverages. Please enjoy these with our compliments.
