We offer two guest rooms with accessibility features, both of which have views of Haystack Rock in Pacific City. The Signature King Accessible includes a roll-in shower with seat and grab bars, while the Top Floor Two Queens Accessible features a bathtub with seat and grab bars. Both rooms include private balconies, cozy fireplaces and the same modern coastal design as our other reimagined accommodations.

Accessible Property Features

The Inn is equipped with an elevator to provide easy access to all levels of the hotel. In addition to our guest rooms, many of our shared spaces and amenities are designed with accessibility in mind, so you can enjoy your stay with comfort and ease.

Our indoor swimming pool, located next door inside Cape Kiwanda Marketplace, features an ADA-compliant lift chair, providing safe and easy access for guests with mobility needs.

Beach Wheelchair Access

Complimentary beach wheelchair rentals are available at our sister property, Hart’s Camp. Thanks to Tillamook Coast Visitors Association, guests, locals and visitors alike are welcome to reserve a wheelchair free of charge for up to three hours, making the sandy shoreline of Pacific City easier for everyone to enjoy. To reserve a beach wheelchair in advance, please complete the request form, call 503.965.7006, or email [email protected].

For additional access, David’s Chair all-terrain mobility track chairs are available to rent just across the street with our friends at PC Pour Wine Bar, providing even more ways to explore the beach and surrounding trails with ease.

Service Animals & Pets

Dogs are welcome at the Inn at Cape Kiwanda and are permitted anywhere guests are allowed. Please register service animals at the time of booking.

    Cape Kiwanda Parking Lot

    The Cape Kiwanda Parking Lot opened in 2024 and was designed to make this extraordinary place on the Oregon Coast easier for everyone to enjoy. Wide sidewalks with benches invite visitors to pause and take in sweeping views of Haystack Rock, Cape Kiwanda and the Pacific Ocean. For those heading down to the beach, Dorymen’s Way offers a stable ramp while accommodating dory fishing and everyday beach fun.

    Sitka Sedge State Natural Area

    Sitka Sedge offers stunning views of tidal flats, saltwater marshes, forested wetlands and open water stretching from Haystack Rock to Cape Lookout. Trails range from the 1.5-mile ADA-accessible Beltz Dike Trail to a full 3.5-mile loop, making it an easy, scenic option for all.

  • Netucca Bay National Wildlife Refuge Accessible Trail And Bridge

    Pacific View Trail

    The Pacific View Trail is a short, easy paved path in the Nestucca Bay National Wildlife Refuge. It’s just 0.6 miles round-trip, ending at an observation deck with sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean, Haystack Rock, Nestucca Bay, the Little Nestucca River and the Coast Range. The trail is well-maintained with rest benches along the way and accessible decking at the overlook. To get there, head to the Nestucca Bay Refuge Trailhead off Christensen Road.
